The body of pop star Whitney Houston is heading to New Jersey on a private jet tonight, ABC News has learned.
Houston's body was released by the Los Angeles coroner earlier today after the completion of an autopsy to determine the cause of her death.
Houston was found "underwater and unconscious" in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills, Calif., hotel room Saturday afternoon, according to Beverly Hills police. Prescription drugs were found nearby, and bottles of champagne and beer were in the adjacent room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, as seen in photos of the scene obtained by TMZ.
Amid the circumstances of her death, and Houston's history of drug addiction, many have speculated that the singer died after taking a toxic mix of prescription drugs and alcohol.
"You can look at a body and not know (what) the cause of death is,'' said Ed Winter, Los Angeles County coroner's spokesman. "You might have a suspicion, but the person could have suffered a heart attack or embolism."
Results of toxicology tests are not expected to be complete for six to eight weeks.
Earlier today, Houston's entourage moved out of the Beverly Hilton. Sources tell ABC News that many close to Houston have been questioned about her final hours.
There were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play on Houston's body, according to sources with knowledge of the case. And while detectives from the Beverly Hills Police Crimes Against Persons detail are working the case, the department insists this is not a homicide investigation. However, they have not ruled out the possibility that the case could turn into one.
"We're conducting a death investigation and we need to be very clear about that,'' said Beverly Hills Police Department Public Information Officer Lt. Mark Rosen. "We do not know the cause of death, we don't know the circumstances leading up to her death."
Houston's brother-in-law Billy Watson told ABC News that the singer's death was accidental, and certainly not suicide.
"Oh, no, this is accidental," Watson said. "She wouldn't have left her daughter like that. She wouldn't have done that to her daughter."
Watson, whose sister is married to Houston's brother, Gary, also said the family is flying back to New Jersey from California today and Tuesday.
ABC News' New York affiliate WABC reported that the same Newark, N.J., funeral home that handled arrangements for Houston's father in 2003 is expected to handle the singer's arrangements.
Houston's was first discovered by a member of her personal staff at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, she was underwater and unconscious, authorities said. Shewas pulled from the tub by members of her staff and hotel security was promptly notified. Fire department officials who arrived found her unresponsive; she was pronounced dead at the hotel at 3:55 p.m.
Winter, the coroner's spokesman, confirmed to ABC News' L.A. affiliate KABC that officials found prescription bottles in Houston's hotel room, but he said they weren't "alarming" or "out of the ordinary."
They were all "pretty normal" prescriptions, Winter said, adding, "I have more prescriptions than what was found in her [Houston's] room."
A source told KABC that one of the prescriptions was amoxicillin, an antibiotic commonly used to treat bacterial infections.
TMZ reported earlier that family sources briefed by coroner officials were told Houston likely died from a combination of the drug Xanax and other prescription medication mixed with alcohol.

Meanwhile, Houston's 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, has been struggling with her mother's death and was hospitalized for "stress and anxiety," a family source told ABCNews.com. She was released Sunday afternoon as her father, Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown, boarded a plane to L.A.
TMZ reported that on Friday night, Bobbi Kristina fell asleep in another bathtub at the Beverly Hilton. Friends had to contact hotel security so she could be removed from the tub.
Houston, who struggled with drugs and alcohol and entered rehab for the third time last year, reportedly spent Friday night at the bar of the Beverly Hilton hotel with a group of friends. She was at the bar for a long time, drinking and being very loud, according to TMZ.
Houston gave her last performance on Thursday at Grammy nominee Kelly Price's party at Tru, a Hollywood nightclub.
"We laughed and we joked and we cracked up, and we danced and sang," Price said. "She was never more than two feet from me the entire night. I gave her a hug, and while I was talking to her she said 'Give me the mike.'"
"In retrospect it's a much bigger moment than I could have imagined," she added. "It was a big moment just because it was Whitney. The world got a gift in that they got an opportunity to see her perform one last time."
Photos taken later that night show Houston leaving the club looking disheveled and disoriented. She reportedly had blood dripping down her leg and scratches on her body.
"It was a great event and she left sweaty, and I have heard the word 'disheveled,'" Price said. "That's about right. When you stand for three hours and in that time period you are dancing. You would leave a club looking that way.
Price added that Houston "didn't look like she was under the influence of anything. She drank some champagne and toasted Kelly Price's three Grammy nominations Thursday night. That's what Whitney Houston did."

Johnreil Casimero whose record is 16-2 with 10 knock outs was a victim of riot when supporters of the losing boxer Luis "Mosquito" Lazarte (49-11-2, 18 KOs) rushed to the ring and attacked Casimero and his team.

Empty bottles as well as chairs were raining on the ring during the riots. Securities and Police Officers rushed to the stage but damages have been made already. Some fans even punched the entourage of Casimero.

Whitney Houston passed away at 48 years old

Too many of us—myself included—are guilty of making insensitive jokes about the demise of Whitney Houston, her frail frame, loss of one of pop's purest voices, and battle with drugs.
But none of us are laughing now.
On Saturday, Houston's publicist confirmed to the Associated Press that the award-winning "I Will Always Love You" singer died. She was 48. The timing of her death, the eve of the Grammys, the biggest music event of the year, makes the horrible news even more tragic. According to CNN, Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. PT at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The Beverly Hilton is the venue for the music industry's most prestigious pre-Grammy party hosted by veteran executive Clive Davis, who discovered Houston.
In an industry flooded with novelty artists, who disappear after scoring one hit, Houston's longevity was unquestioned when she released her debut single, the ballad "You Give Good Love" in February 1985. The song's soothing opening ad-libs displayed her soulful roots while also celebrating her pop sensibilities.

Houston's sound was distinct, and clearly separated her from the funk-laden stylings of the era's other female R&B singers. Plus, she was a model who appeared in "Glamour" and "Cosmopolitan" magazines.
Houston's sound made sense when considering her pedigree. She was the perfect melding of the styles of her mother, gospel singer Cissy Houston; cousin, 1960s pop singer Dionne Warwick; and godmother, queen of soul Aretha Franklin.
Houston's self-titled debut album topped the charts and was certified diamond. Her career was impenetrable throughout the release of several follow up albums, 1987's "Whitney," 1990's "I'm Your Baby Tonight," and 1992's "The Bodyguard" soundtrack.

The first trailer for the espionage thriller "The Bourne Legacy"

The first trailer for the espionage thriller The Bourne Legacy, starring Jeremy Renner, was released online February 8 with the tagline: "There was never just one."

The fourth installment of the Bourne series, which previously starred Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, centers on a new CIA operative, played by Renner, who is welcomed to the Outcome program.

The action-packed footage shows the new hero fighting with fierce precision, in scenes that follow up the previous films' situations.

The cast also includes Rachel Weisz (The Lovely Bones) and Edward Norton (The Illusionist) and reprises roles for Albert Finney, David Strathairn, Scott Glenn and Joan Allen.

Tony Gilroy, who wrote the previous Bourne screenplays, takes on directing this film from an original story, based on Robert Ludlum's novels. He's also directed thrillers Duplicity and Michael Clayton.

The Bourne Legacy releases August 3 in North America, followed by Australia, the UK, Norway, Sweden and Argentina through August, and rolls out in Russia, Germany, France, South Africa and other markets in September.

Hollywood film “Bourne Legacy” will be shot on location in different places of Metro Manila

Hollywood film “Bourne Legacy,” the fourth installment of the “Bourne” film franchise, will be shot on location in different places of Metro Manila according to Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino.

In an interview with “Mornings @ ANC” on Tuesday, January 3, Tolentino said “Bourne Legacy” actors Rachel Weisz and Jeremy Renner will come to the country to shoot some scenes, including a car chase along Pasay.

“Part of the script would be some car chase, I think si Rachel Weisz,” Tolentino said.

Locations for the shoot are Marikina City Market, San Andres Market, Navotas Fishport, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Intramuros and Jones Bridge. Tolentino hasn’t confirmed yet when the production outfit will start filming in Manila.

It was reported on May 2011 that director Tony Gilroy has chosen Manila as location for the “Bourne Legacy.” Matt Damon starred as Jason Bourne in the first three installments of the film.”

According to IMDB, Renner will play a new character, CIA operative Aaron Cross. The film also stars Edward Norton.

When images of the Wizards of Waverly Place star emerged yesterday of her wearing a ring that looked very much like the engagement variety, the rumour mill went into overdrive that the teen love birds were planning on tying the knot.
But Selena’s publicist denied the reports and told Us Weekly that, “She is not engaged.”
The young couple are currently enjoying a vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where Selena is preparing to be a bridesmaid for her costume designer Shannon Larossi’s wedding.
They had met while working on Selena’s Disney show and the performer will also be singing at her friend’s reception.
Justin and Selena were pictured lazing around in the sun yesterday at their seaside resort and the Baby singer took some snap shots of his lady love while she posed up in a sexy blue bikini.
Justin has said in the past that he wants to be a young husband and father and looks forward to those roles one day.

Britain's former world welterweight champion Ricky Hatton admitted on Thursday that his brutal defeat at the hands of Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao drove him to the brink of suicide.
Hatton, who retired in July, was demolished inside just two rounds by Pacquiao in Las Vegas in May 2009, a fierce battering which caused his life to spiral out of control in a battle with drink and drugs.
"I was so down, I was crying and breaking out and contemplating suicide," Hatton told the BBC.
"I was going deeper and deeper into depression. I was going out and having a few drinks. The worst thing you can do with depression is add alcohol to it.
"I needed something to get my backside into gear and pull my finger out. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to think, 'Blimey Ricky, get a grip'.
"Depression is a serious thing and, after my defeat to Manny Pacquiao, I contemplated retirement and didn't cope with it very well."
Hatton's predicament worsened when he fell victim to a newspaper sting in which he was shown taking cocaine before he went into rehabilitation.
"For someone in my position taking drugs once is nothing short of disgraceful," said the 32-year-old.
"The reason behind my actions and the way I was behaving wasn't a drink or drugs thing, it was depression. I was so down, I was crying and breaking out and contemplating suicide.
"Half the things I was doing I didn't even read about in the paper. I can't even remember the night it happened - that's what depression does to you.
"I was having blackouts, days on end whether I was drinking or not when I couldn't remember what had happened in my life.
"I thank the News of the World because who knows where it could have ended up."

Dr. Conrad Murray on trial in Michael Jackson death

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Images of Michael Jackson lying dead in a hospital and rehearsing the day before his death, along with recollections of the singer as a troubled "lost boy," made for a heart-wrenching opening on Tuesday to the manslaughter trial of the doctor hired to care for him.
In opening arguments two years after Jackson's death by drug overdose of propofol and sedatives, prosecutor David Walgren told jurors the "Thriller" singer "literally put his life in the hands of Dr. Conrad Murray."
"That misplaced trust in the hands of Conrad Murray cost Michael Jackson his life," Walgren said.
But Murray's lawyers argued Jackson "caused his own death" by giving himself extra medication in a bid to sleep. "He died so rapidly, so instantly, he didn't even have time to close his eyes," defense attorney Ed Chernoff said in opening arguments.
Murray denies he is guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Jackson on June 25, 2009, but admits giving the 50-year-old pop star a dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol as a sleep aid. He faces a prison sentence of up to four years if convicted. The trial is expected to last four to six weeks.
The Texas cardiologist, who was paid $150,000 a month to care for Jackson, wiped away tears during Tuesday's opening statements as Chernoff defended him.
Jackson's lifeless body was found at his rented Los Angeles mansion just three weeks before a series of 50 planned London comeback concerts titled "This Is It" were scheduled to begin.
Kenny Ortega, the co-director of the concerts, testified that Jackson was excited about the shows because he wanted his young children to see him perform.
"LIKE A LOST BOY"
But on June 19, six days before his death, Jackson turned up at rehearsals in Los Angeles in a worried state. "Michael seemed chilled, lost and incoherent," Ortega recalled.
"I was feeding him, wrapping him in blankets to warm his chills, massaging his feet to calm him and calling his doctor," Ortega wrote in an email to concert promoters hours later. "It broke my heart. He was like a lost boy ... He is terribly frightened it is all going to go away," Ortega put in the email.
Four days later, Jackson was back "full of energy, full of desire to work, full of enthusiasm," Ortega said. Ortega hugged Jackson goodbye after another good day of rehearsals on June 24. On June 25, the director and choreographer said he got a call saying "We lost him."
Chernoff told jurors Murray was trying to wean the pop star off propofol, which Jackson called "milk."
He argued that a frustrated Jackson, tired and under pressure to get the concerts ready, gave himself eight lorazepam anti-anxiety pills to sleep in the early hours of June 25. When he still could not rest, he added propofol.
"We believe the evidence will show... that when Dr. Murray left the room, Michael Jackson self-administered a dose of propofol that with the lorazepam created a perfect storm within his body that killed him instantly," Chernoff added.
"The whole thing is tragic, but the evidence is not that Dr Murray did it," Chernoff said.
Walgren opened the prosecution case by showing jurors a photo of a thin Jackson lying dead on a hospital gurney. He later played video of Jackson's last performance -- an emotional rehearsal of "Earth Song" filmed on June 24, 2009.
Footage of the rehearsals was made into Jackson's posthumous concert movie "This Is It" in 2009 and it became a global box office hit.
Jackson's parents, Joe and Katherine, his sisters, Janet and La Toya, and other family members were in court on Tuesday, while outside dozens of fans outside the courtroom held sunflowers, pictures of the dead pop star, and placards saying "Justice for Michael."

American Idol season 10 finalist Thia Megia have been chosen by Manny Pacquiao himself to sing the “Star-Spangled Banner”

American Idol season 10 finalist Thia Megia said she is honored and blessed to have been chosen by Manny Pacquiao himself to sing the “Star-Spangled Banner,” the national anthem of the United States, in his fight with Juan Miguel Marquez this November 12.

“It was really nerve-wrecking because I haven't sang the national anthem in a while. But, you know, I'm thankful he (Pacquiao) liked it enough to have me sing it at his next fight. I'm really honored and blessed for his opportunity,” the 16-year-old singer said in an interview with Yahoo! Philippines OMG! on Tuesday, September 20, before the American Idol Live Tour in Manila at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

According to Thia, she was asked by Manny's team if she could sing the “Star-Spangled Banner” after the Idols' guesting in the GMA-7 Saturday variety show “Manny Many Prizes.”

“I sang to him and it was right after the 'Manny Many Prizes' show. We went backstage and his manager, he asked me, 'you probably don't know the Philippine national anthem yet but do you know 'Star-Spangled Banner?' I said, 'I do.' 'Do you mind singing it to Manny?' And I was like, 'right now?' And Manny was sitting right there and it was such a small room and Pia (Toscano) and Stefano (Langone) were there, they were rooting for me,” Thia shared.

Although she admitted singing the national anthem of America in front of Manny was “nerve-wrecking,” Thia said the whole experience was “wonderful.”

Proud moment

Thia said she's excited to meet young Filipino talent Maria Aragon, who will sing the Philippine national anthem or “Lupang Hinirang” during the match.

“It's awesome. She's such a young artist. Just looking at what she's already done at that age... it's gonna be an honor to meet her as well,” Thia said.

For the young American Idol finalist, the fact that the likes of her and Aragon have somehow penetrated the international music scene is something to be proud of.

“I'm really proud as well because there's so many amazing and talented Filipinos that are making it in the US and pretty much worldwide. It's gonna be a proud moment for me,” Thia said.

Since she has already experienced what it's like to perform for the Filipino audience, will Thia consider pursuing a musical career in the Philippines?

“I would love to explore the opportunity and the possibility of doing that. My love for music will be never-ending so I'm gonna keep working and working and working on it,” Thia replied.

She added, “I would love to explore any opportunity that is worldwide. It would be awesome.”

Other sides of Thia

The young singer also said she's also working on original compositions and exploring the possibility of performing an OPM song.

“I'm definitely working on my music and learning how to be versatile,” Thia said. “I've been in pretty much one genre on the show but what you guys don't know is that I love every genre and I can sing anything.”

During this year's Idol competition, Thia was criticized for being predictable and one-dimensional with her song choices. For her post-Idol projects, she hopes to show she can sing more than just her signature ballads.

“I love reggae, actually. I love soul and jazz. Anything that's pretty cool and funky and has a cool vibe. I love to sing ballads, they really suit my voice good, but a lot of you haven't heard the other music sides of me,” she said when asked what type of music she'd want to explore for her debut album.

Floyd Mayweather dethroned WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz with a controversial blind-side punch in the fourth round of their eventful title fight on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Mayweather knocked out Ortiz at 2:59 of the fourth as he appeared to hit the champion and fellow American after a break in the fight with a left-right combination while Ortiz had his hands down in the centre of the ring.
"We touched gloves and that is all she wrote," The still-unbeaten Mayweather said. "He did something dirty but we are not here to complain about what he did dirty or I did dirty."
Referee Joe Cortez had stopped the fight in mid-round just seconds earlier to deduct a point from Ortiz for head-butting Mayweather in the corner during a vicious exchange of punches.
Ortiz had just finished apologizing twice to Mayweather for the head butt when Mayweather surprised him with a short left.
After the fight, Ortiz and his corner complained about the way the referee handled the final moments of the fight, but Ortiz also took some of the blame for not protecting himself.
"It was called a break and I did as I was told," Ortiz said. "I looked at the ref and then boom! I was out. There was a little miscommunication by the ref. But I have no one to blame but myself. It was a learning experience."
The MGM Hotel and Casino crowd booed the decision by the referee to give the victory to Mayweather, who had been winning the 147-pound fight by a slim margin through the first three rounds.
The 34-year-old Mayweather is now 42-0 with 26 knockouts and looked impressive early despite taking 16 months off since his last fight.
Ortiz, who came into the fight 14 pounds heavier than Mayweather, was coming off an impressive victory over Andre Berto.
In the fourth round, the two fighters were locked in a corner exchanging blows when Ortiz thrust his head up and forward to hit Mayweather, who had his back to the ropes.
Mayweather, who was not cut, immediately complained to the referee, who stopped the fight to deduct a point from Ortiz. Ortiz immediately apologized to Mayweather.
"I am not a dirty fighter. I told Floyd I didn't mean to do that," Ortiz said.
The fighters then moved to the centre of the ring and Ortiz put his arms around Mayweather and apologized a second time. Ortiz dropped his hands and stepped back as Mayweather caught him unaware with a quick left that stunned Ortiz before knocking him down with a straight right hand while the referee was looking the other way.
"I got hit with a dirty shot. It is protect yourself at all time. I hit left hook, right hand ended the bout," Mayweather said.
Ortiz had been fighting well up to that point, showing he was more than just Mayweather's tuneup for a possible fight with Filipino champ Manny Pacquiao next year.
The 24-year-old Ortiz was fighting for the second time as a true welterweight as his record fell to 29-3-2 with 22 knockouts.

Taiwanese heartthrob Vic Chou shot to fame in 2001, after his role in drama "Meteor Garden". Recently Vic said to the Chinese press, "But many people looked down on me, especially those in showbiz. Who is he? He's just a 'pretty vase'."; according to the Xin MSN website.
He added, "People might not believe me when I say this. When I first entered showbiz, all I wanted was to leave this industry. I kept thinking how I could get out of my contract and say goodbye to all these."
Even when countless drama offers came pouring in, Vic was still determined to keep a distance from showbiz because he had seen the things people do to reach the top. The actor was frequently taken advantage of because he is a person who "is unwilling to fight, and would rather do things quietly".
"I was struggling. With my kind of attitude, I would still be bullied, no matter where I worked; but not wanting to fight is my nature," Vic said.
Vic's emotional burden accumulated over the years, resulting in depression a few years ago.
"I was immune to pain and was unafraid of death, during the worst period when I had depression. Death became optional. In other words, I would die, if I wanted to die today," he let on.
The actor might have talked about his illness lightly now, but his condition was rather severe back then.
"Luckily, I have positive-thinking friends, who were willing to listen to me, towards the end of my therapy, and I would tell them about my condition. You're actually helping yourself, if you're willing to share. The negativity would decrease," Vic said.

Hacktivist group Anonymous has threatened to "destroy" by November 5 social networking giant Facebook, which it accused of "selling" users' data to "authoritarian" governments.
In a message posted on video-sharing site YouTube, Anonymous said people who want to protect the freedom of information should "join the cause and kill facebook for the sake of your own privacy."
"Facebook has been selling information to government agencies and giving clandestine access to information security firms so that they can spy on people from all around the world. Some of these so-called whitehat infosec firms are working for authoritarian governments, such as those of Egypt and Syria," it said.
It said everything users do "stays" on Facebook, regardless of their privacy settings, adding deleting one's account is "impossible."
The hacktivist group urged the public to "think for a while and prepare for a day that will go down in history. November 5, 2011."
"One day you will look back on this and realise what we have done here is right," it said.
'Strange' move
A blog entry on Village Voice, however, said it was strange that a hacker group that had stolen information "as they please" now claims to want to protect privacy.
Anonymous had teamed with Lulz Security to hack several government and corporate websites earlier this year.
"Doesn't that sound strange, coming from people who routinely steal private information as they please? But this echoes the manifesto of a related group, LulzSec, whose nihilistic perspective on the state of the Internet kind of made sense," it said.
"Will Anonymous be able to successfully lay waste to Mark Zuckerberg's fortress? This is set to be the Internet showdown of the year," it added.
Anonymous' social network hacked
On the other hand, Anonymous' latest threat came in the wake of its upcoming social network AnonPlus being hacked and defaced earlier this week.
The attack on AnonPlus (anonplus.com) was supposedly in retaliation for the group's attack on Syria.
A report on The Hacker News on Tuesday afternoon said the home page of social network AnonPlus (www.anonplus.com) was replaced with a message that read "Terrorist kills."
"In response to your hacking to the website of the Syrian Ministry of Defence, the Syrian people have decided to purify the internet of [y]our pathetic website. Your website has been hacked, and here we leave you these photos showing the scale of terrorism committed by Muslim Brotherhood Organization, whose members have been killing Syrian citizens - civilians and military," read the message on a screenshot of the defaced site, posted on The Hacker News.
It added Anonymous had been "defending this (terrorist) organization" and that the defacement "is our response."
The Hacker News reported the defacement followed Anonymous' claiming responsibility for defacing the website of Syria's Ministry of Defense.
As of Tuesday afternoon, visitors to anonplus.com were redirected to another site, anonplus.bombshellz.net, which appeared to be a mirror site.
While the screenshot did not say who defaced the site, The Hacker News said the University of Toronto's Citizen Lab "credited the AnonPlus defacement to the 'Syrian Electronic Army.'"

Rowan Atkinson crashed his £650,000 supercar car last night, with a source describing his survival a “miracle”.
The 56-year-old British actor is famed across the globe for his roles playing clumsy TV character Mr. Bean and Johnny English in the eponymous spoof spy film franchise.
Rowan is a big fan of fast cars, and last night his McLaren F1 vehicle, believed to be one of only 100 in the world, reportedly hit a tree and a lamppost before catching fire in Cambridgeshire, England.
"We were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision at 7.30 tonight on the A605 at Haddon," the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed yesterday.
A spokesperson added that a man was taken to a Peterborough hospital with "a minor shoulder injury".
Meanwhile, a source told British newspaper The Sun that Rowan has been extremely lucky not to have sustained worse injuries.
"It's a miracle he walked away," claimed the insider.
Rowan had previously damaged the front of the car when it collided with a Rover Metro in Lancashire over ten years ago. He later confessed the incident had been embarrassing.
"The prang was embarrassingly low-speed and therefore not related to my handling of the car, thank God. I was very, very lucky," he blushed.

The 41-year-old star has opened up about her plans for the future in her first interview since announcing her split from husband Marc Anthony. Despite dealing with the breakdown of her third marriage, Jennifer still insists she believes in relationships and is focusing on her career and her three-year-old twins Max and Emme.
“That was my biggest dream, and I really worked hard at it. We both did,” Jennifer told Vanity Fair. “Sometimes it doesn’t work - and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love.
“It’s still my biggest dream. I am positive - determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong.”
Describing herself as a “hopeless romantic” Jennifer is feeling more confident than ever. The singer-and-actress - who previously dated Ben Affleck and P. Diddy - also spoke about feeling trapped in the wrong relationship, insisting she now has the strength of character to make it on her own.
“It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realise that we are compromising ourselves,” she explained. “To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself - if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”
Despite announcing her split from Latin salsa singer Marc just a few weeks ago, Jennifer has only positive things to say about her estranged husband. She has vowed to remain on good terms with him for the sake of their children and she is grateful they had a family together.
“I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer,” she added. “We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic - and we did. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”
Jennifer revealed that having twins had a big impact on her marriage. She admits that it was also difficult for the couple when she decided to return to work.
“When we were [first] married, most of the time, and even before the babies were born, we were able to go everywhere together. I wasn't working as much. So we kind of had that. I went on tour with him a few times in the first few years of our marriage, and we did a film [El Cantante] together,” she said. “Like I said, we had the first three years of our marriage just for us. I wasn't working, it was mainly about him. Then we got pregnant. Then it became about the kids. And then I started working again."
Jennifer went on to speak about her career as a successful singer, actress and judge on television talent show American Idol. She admits she isn’t the strongest singer, but says she makes the most of her talent and can’t wait to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.
"I think I'm a really great performer. I think I'm a really great actress,” she smiled. “I feel confident in those things - that's a better way to say it. I'm not as gifted a vocalist as some of the girls that are out there, but I know I communicate.
"It's like all that hard work and now something permanent is going to be there. I made my mark."

Amy Winehouse was found dead Saturday in her London home

LONDON (AP) — Amy Winehouse, the beehived soul-jazz diva whose self-destructive habits overshadowed a distinctive musical talent, was found dead Saturday in her London home, police said. She was 27.


Winehouse shot to fame in 2006 with the album "Back to Black," whose blend of jazz, soul, rock and classic pop was a global hit. It won five Grammys and made Winehouse — with her black beehive hairdo and old-fashioned sailor tattoos — one of music's most recognizable stars. But the British star's personal life, with its drug and alcohol abuse, eating disorders and destructive relationships, soon took over her career.


Police confirmed that a 27-year-old female was pronounced dead at the home in Camden Square northern London; the cause of death was not immediately known. London Ambulance Services said Winehouse had died before the two ambulance crews it sent arrived at the scene.


"Everyone who was involved with Amy is shocked and devastated. Our thoughts are with her family and friends," said Chris Goodman, a spokesman for her publicity representatives. He said her family will issue a statement when they are ready.


Singer and actress Kelly Osbourne, who helped Winehouse check into a drug addiction treatment facility in 2008, was one of many who grieved for the singer on Twitter.


"I cant even breath right now im crying so hard i just lost 1 of my best friends. i love you forever Amy and will never forget the real you!" she tweeted.


The singer's father, Mitch Winehouse, had arrived in New York this weekend to prepare for his U.S. performing debut Monday night at the Blue Note jazz club, but upon receiving news of his daughter's death was heading back home to London to be with his family, his publicist Don Lucoff said.


An ambulance could be seen parked beneath the trees outside her London home, and the whole street was cordoned off by police tape. Officers kept onlookers away from the scene, though fans began to gather and lay flowers at the edge of the cordon.


Last month, Winehouse canceled her European comeback tour after she swayed and slurred her way through barely recognizable songs in her first show in the Serbian capital of Belgrade. Booed and jeered off stage, she flew home and her management said she would take time off to recover.
Winehouse was last publicly seen on at a London concert on Wednesday when she joined her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield on stage. In that impromptu appearance, Winehouse danced with Bromfield and encouraged the audience to buy her album, before leaving the stage.


"I didn't go out looking to be famous," Winehouse told the Associated Press when "Back to Black" was released. "I'm just a musician."


But in the end, the music was overshadowed by fame, and by Winehouse's demons. Tabloids lapped up the erratic stage appearances, drunken fights, stints in hospital and rehab clinics. Performances became shambling, stumbling train wrecks, watched around the world on the Internet.
Born in 1983 to Mitch Winehouse, taxi driver, and his pharmacist wife Janis, Winehouse grew up in the north London suburbs, and was set on a showbiz career from an early age. When she was 10, she and a friend formed a rap group, Sweet 'n' Sour — Winehouse was Sour — that she later described as "the little white Jewish Salt 'n' Pepa."


She attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School, a factory for British music and acting moppets, later went to the Brit School, a performing arts academy in the "Fame" mold, and was originally signed to "Pop Idol" svengali Simon Fuller's 19 Management.


But Winehouse was never a packaged teen star, and always resisted being pigeonholed.
Her jazz-influenced 2003 debut album, "Frank," was critically praised and sold well in Britain. It earned Winehouse an Ivor Novello songwriting award, two Brit nominations and a spot on the shortlist for the Mercury Music Prize.


But Winehouse soon expressed dissatisfaction with the disc, saying she was "only 80 percent behind" the album.


"Frank" was followed by a slump during which Winehouse broke up with her boyfriend, suffered a long period of writer's block and, she later said, smoked a lot of marijuana.


"I had writer's block for so long," she said in 2007. "And as a writer, your self-worth is literally based on the last thing you wrote. .. I used to think, 'What happened to me?'


"At one point it had been two years since the last record and (the record company) actually said to me, 'Do you even want to make another record?' I was like, 'I swear it's coming.' I said to them, 'Once I start writing I will write and write and write. But I just have to start it.'"
The album she eventually produced was a sensation.


Released in Britain in the fall of 2006, "Back to Black" brought Winehouse global fame. Working with producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi and soul-funk group the Dap-Kings, Winehouse fused soul, jazz, doo-wop and, above all, a love of the girl-groups of the early 1960s with lyrical tales of romantic obsession and emotional excess.


"Back to Black" was released in the United States in March 2007 and went on to win five Grammy awards, including song and record of the year for "Rehab."
Music critic John Aizlewood attributed her trans-Atlantic success to a fantastic voice and a genuinely original sound.


"A lot of British bands fail in America because they give America something Americans do better — that's why most British hip-hop has failed," he said. "But they won't have come across anything quite like Amy Winehouse."


Winehouse's rise was helped by her distinctive look — messy beehive of hair, thickly lined cat eyes, girly tattoos — and her tart tongue.


She was famously blunt in her assessment of her peers, once describing Dido's sound as "background music — the background to death" and saying of pop princess Kylie Minogue, "she's not an artist ... she's a pony.


"The songs on "Black to Black" detailed breakups and breakdowns with a similar frankness. Lyrically, as in life, Winehouse wore her heart on her sleeve.


"I listen to a lot of '60s music, but society is different now," Winehouse said in 2007. "I'm a young woman and I'm going to write about what I know."


Even then, Winehouse's performances were sometimes shambolic, and she admitted she is "a terrible drunk." She acknowledged struggling with eating disorders and told a newspaper that she had been diagnosed as manic depressive but refused to take medication. Soon accounts of her erratic behavior, canceled concerts and drink- and drug-fueled nights began to multiply.


Photographs caught her unsteady on her feet or vacant-eyed, and she appeared unhealthily thin, with scabs on her face and marks on her arms.


There were embarrassing videos released to the world on the Internet. One showed an addled Winehouse and Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty playing with newborn mice. Another, for which Winehouse apologized, showed her singing a racist ditty to the tune of a children's song.


Winehouse's managers went to increasingly desperate lengths to keep the wayward star on the straight and narrow. Before the June concert in Belgrade, her hotel was reportedly stripped of booze — but it did no good, and the concert was painful to watch.
Though she was often reported to be working on new material, fans got tired of waiting for the much-promised followup to "Back to Black."


Occasional bits of recording saw the light of day. Her rendition of The Zutons' "Valerie" was a highlight of producer Mark Ronson's 2007 album "Version," and she recorded the pop classic "It's My Party" for the 2010 Quincy Jones album "Q: Soul Bossa Nostra."
But other recording projects with Ronson, one of the architects of the success of "Back to Black," came to nothing.
She also had run-ins with the law. In April 2008, Winehouse was cautioned by police for assault after she slapped a man during a raucous night out. The same year she was investigated by police, although not charged, after a tabloid newspaper published a video that appeared to show her smoking crack cocaine.


In 2010, Winehouse pleaded guilty to assaulting a theater manager who asked her to leave a family Christmas show because she'd had too much to drink. She was given a fine and a warning to stay out of trouble by a judge who praised her for trying to clean up her act.


In May 2007 in Miami, she married music industry hanger-on Blake Fielder-Civil, but the honeymoon was brief. That November, Fielder-Civil was arrested for an attack on a pub manager the year before. Fielder-Civil later pleaded guilty to assaulting barman James King and then offering him 200,000 pounds (US$400,000) to keep quiet about it.


Winehouse stood by "my Blake" throughout his trial, often blowing kisses at him from the court's public gallery and wearing a heart-shaped pin labeled "Blake" in her hair at concerts. But British newspapers reported extramarital affairs while Fielder-Civil was behind bars.
They divorced in 2009.


Winehouse's health often appeared fragile. In June 2008 and again in April 2010, she was taken to hospital and treated for injuries after fainting and falling at home.
Her father said she had developed the lung disease emphysema from smoking cigarettes and crack, although her spokeswoman later said Winehouse only had "early signs of what could lead to emphysema."


She left the hospital to perform at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday concert in Hyde Park in June 2008, and at the Glastonbury festival the next day, where she received a rousing reception but scuffled with a member of the crowd. Then it was back to a London clinic for treatment, continuing the cycle of music, excess and recuperation that marked her career.


"I was just doing one destructive thing after the other, I suppose. Or, having a good time," she once said in a television interview. "Today's papers are just tomorrow's fish and chips paper so it doesn't bother me."

“Nobody knew where they were going.”
The pair said they vows on top of a cliff, it what was a romantic setting. They had arrived on the idyllic island on Tuesday.


Vanessa, 30, opted for a Monique Lhuillier wedding gown which was in two parts. The top was a corset covered in rose and crystal embellishments, while the skirt was made of silk faille. The two pieces were drawn together with a belt in the shape of a box.


Nick, 37, opted for a suit by Dolce & Gabbana, and was as thrilled as his new wife that they’d managed to surprise their guests.


“Our wedding invitations were in the form of a plane ticket. We told them they were going away and the attire was ‘island chic’. It was all very vague,” he laughed.


The nuptials will be shown on a television special called Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding.

The film added $75 million in 57 overseas countries Friday, raising its international total to $157.5 million since it began rolling out Wednesday. That gives the film a worldwide total of about $250 million.


Among its first-day totals Friday was $14.8 million in Great Britain, which Warner Bros. reported was the biggest single day ever for a movie.


The first 3-D film in the series, "Deathly Hallows: Part 2" benefited from the higher price theaters charge for 3-D tickets, which cost a few dollars more than 2-D.


In a single day, "Deathly Hallows: Part 2" took in more money than four of the previous seven 
"Harry Potter" films did over their entire opening weekends.


The finale of the "Harry Potter" saga also set a record for midnight screenings with $43.5 million. That topped "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," which pulled in about $30 million in its first midnight shows last year.
