It was more than a week after your death. I still remember the first time we met. How you little girl really caught my attention. You are wearing a lovely pink dress, and I was really mesmerized by your sweet cute little charms. For me, you’re such an angel. Just by looking at you, just by staring at you, I find inner solace and I didn’t know why.

It took me so long to finish this blog for you. Your sudden death caught me by surprise. It’s so hard to accept that it will be the second and the last time I will be with you. It’s so hard because I even remember telling your dad that you’re going to be one of my flower girls if I will be getting married… but now you are gone… I still remember vividly the pain of seeing Kuya Rowin and Ate Chie grieving but I can’t do anything about it. I don’t even bother to ask questions. I just want to be there for your dad, your mom, your kuya and to your family.

I may not be a sister to you, I may not be a relative to you, and I may not be even connected to you… But Baby Maia, you know that I will forever consider you my True-Blooded Relative. I see commonness in you. I see how you are well-loved by the people around you. I see how your amusing loud-shrieking non-irritating high-pitched voice provides comical relief to those who hear.

Baby Maia, I know you are now in heaven. Thank you for touching my life in your cute special ways. I will never forget you Baby. Until we see each other again.
