"It's Showtime" will be ABS-CBN's newest noontime program

It’s no longer “Showtime” but “It’s Showtime.”

ABS-CBN has announced that the former will transform into a noontime show to be called “It’s Showtime,” which will start airing Monday, Feb. 6, in place of the defunct “Happy Yipee Yehey.”

“Showtime” went off-air last Monday, January 30, as its timeslot was occupied by Kapamilya Blockbuster and the new teleserye “Mundo Man ay Magunaw.”

“After two years of being a morning kapamilya favorite, "It's Showtime" will be ABS-CBN's newest noontime program effective Monday, February 6, 2012,” Head of Corporate Communication Bong Osorio said in a press statement.

The new show will still be hosted by “Showtime” mainstays Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Karylle, ‘Kuya’ Kim Atienza, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta and Vice Ganda. They will be joined by former judges Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang and Coleen Garcia.

“Together, they will be bringing a new and more exciting show filled with surprises and engaging segments that will make viewers experience more fun in “Showtime,” Osorio said.

Osorio also extended his thanks to ‘madlang people’ or the viewers for their continuous support to “Showtime.”

“ABS-CBN thanks the ‘madlang people,’ here in the Philippines and in The Filipino Channel (TFC) markets worldwide, for being with Showtime and its hosts in their journey of bringing joy and hope every morning the past two years. ABS-CBN invites the viewers to continue their unwavering support for ‘Showtime’ as it moves to noontime, from Monday to Saturday starting February 6,” he added.

KC Concepcion on the cover of the January-February 2012 issue of Rogue Magazine

Looking good is the best revenge.

Just ask KC Concepcion, who, following her breakup with actor Piolo Pascual, smolders on the cover of the January-February 2012 issue of Rogue Magazine, her tush out and proud.
Within minutes of posting the KC cover on its Facebook page on Jan. 24, Rogue saw its handiwork go viral.
"KC and the sunshine Butt," quipped one Facebook commenter.
The actress also became the top trending topic on Yahoo!, with Rogue Magazine in third place on Jan. 25.
TV news shows picked up the story, too.
To date, the post has been liked by more than 3,600 people, generated more than 1,000 comments and has been shared nearly 900 times.
And the issue isn't even out yet.
In a Yahoo! Philippines OMG! exclusive, Rogue editor-in-chief Paolo Reyes and design director Miguel Mari shared excerpts from the cover story and a few behind-the-scenes anecdotes on the cover shoot, which was taken by Mark Nicdao.
Exclusive excerpts from the cover story
When she went on "The Buzz" to proclaim tearfully that her year-long relationship with Piolo Pascual was over, KC told Rogue why. "It's simple. No one was making it known that the relationship was over. So I stepped up to let people know the truth."
To deal with the pain of the breakup, she said, "I'm growing fangs and claws—not just for myself—but for everyone I love around me. If they get hurt in the way that I felt, I'm just going to lose it. It shouldn't ever happen to anyone."
The Rogue interview was conducted by director and Yahoo! Philippines OMG! blogger Jose Javier Reyes, to whom KC admitted, "What I've learned is it's so important to be real. If you're already moving in a world of make-believe…which is amazing and fantastic…but when it comes to your private life, you want it to be as real as possible."

You have to lose yourself to find yourself'
She also revealed, "What I learned in the last three years is how much you can lose yourself if you compromise so much with what people want. I think I snapped out of it after my break-up. You have to lose yourself to find yourself."
Like many women post-break up, KC went off and chopped her hair, which is how she appeared on the Rogue cover.
Reyes asked her, "Everybody says that the moment a young woman cuts her hair, it's the start of a reinvention. Are we about to see that?"
"I've always had a very strong personal relationship with my hair. I think that my hair tells the story when I can't put it in words," KC replied.
"But when I did it, I had no idea Coco Chanel said, 'A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life.' So I want to believe Coco Chanel." She laughed. "You have to be emotionally in the right place when you do something like that."

More clues on the cover?
Rogue design director Miguel Mari recalls that when KC arrived at the cover shoot, which happened in early December and lasted for around 10 hours, she was "in a great mood and just giddy with excitement."
He said that KC's short new do "gave her this freshness—not only physically, but with her general attitude as well."
She had brought along her pet snake, which also happened to be named Coco.
Coco appears on the cover, wrapped around the wrist of KC's left hand, which also held the severed head of a mannequin that netizens said looked a lot like her ex.
Rogue's January-February issue will roll off the presses on Feb. 1.

“Lumabas kasi sa artikulo na binastos ko si Ms. Ai-Ai, hindi ko sya pinansin kaya hinusgahan na bastos raw ako. Kristine Hermosa gave birth to Ondrea Bliss, her first-born by husband Oyo Sotto

Kristine Hermosa gave birth to Ondrea Bliss, her first-born by husband Oyo Sotto, last Dec. 26, 11:49 p.m. at St. Luke’s Medical Center at the Bonifacio Global City.

The baby, says Dina Bonnevie, Oyo’s mother, weighed almost six pounds at birth. Kristine had a normal delivery.

“I was with Kristine the whole time she was giving birth,” recalls Dina. “I even wore a scrub suit. Oyo, was taking pictures.”

The proud grandmother describes the baby as “very cute, with a cleft chin and long fingers which she got from Tintin, and Oyo’s thick eyebrows.”

Dina adds that Oyo is not that new to the demands of fatherhood since he and Kristine have an adopted son, Quiel, who is now three years old.

“But since their newborn is a girl, things will be different this time,” adds Dina.
