Felix Roco reveals details about his parent's split.

Five years have passed since his father Bembol Roco left his mom Josefina for another woman, which is why Felix Roco said there’s no reason for him to stay mad at his father anymore. “Siguro dati I may have said some stuff na hindi tama. Peroactually matagal ko ng tanggap. Pumapasok din paminsan sa utak ko[na pwedeng magkaanak ulit sidaddy] pero siyempre that's his life. Why get mad at something that you’re not supposed to be mad about?” he reasoned. It’s just that they don’t see each other as much because they’re busy with their respective lives. “Hindi naman sa hindiclose, hindi lang kami nagkikita, text text lang, nagkukumustahan. Mayroon din kasi siyang stage play for PETA (Philippine Educational Theater Association, a play entitled Noli at Fili Dekada 2000). E alam ni’yo naman halos everyday rehearsal ‘pag ganon.”

But given his parents’ split, Felix shared that he has grown more protective towards his mom. “Siyempre walang sumasama sa mom ko ngayon that’s why I’d rather stay at the house. Kami ng mga kapatid ko ang nag-aalaga sa kanya.” Felix even had his mom’s name tattooed on his right wrist. When asked if he’s worried that other girls might think of him as a mama’s boy because of it, the 21-year-old stressed that he’s proud of his strong bond with his mom. “I don’t care kasi if ever magpapalagay man ako ng pangalan ng tao sa katawan ko, it would be my mom kasi that’s the name I’d never regret putting on my body.”

Felix also revealed that his mom seems to have a suitor at the moment and that he would understand if she chooses to enter in a relationship again. “Actually nahiya ako magtanong sa kanya. Hindi ko pa nakikilala yung guy kasi alam ko he's currently based abroad. Lagi siyang tumatawag sa bahay e. Old friend siya nimommy. Pero ayoko na makialam. She deserves to be happy. It's her time naman to do as she pleases.Pero siyempre kikilalanin ko din kung deserving din yung guy para sa mom ko. Kami naman ang maghihigpit in that sense,” he explained with a laugh.

In the meantime, he’s thinking of treating his mom to an out of the country trip so that she could enjoy herself as well. “Hindi kotse kasi hindi naman siya mahilig lumabas. Siguro pwedeng cruise. Kung kasama niya yung manliligaw niya? Pwede. Malaki na mom ko. Pero kung gusto niya ako kasama okay din sa akin, hahaha! O kaya plane ticket papuntang States since nandun yung mom niya ngayon. Basta hindi muna para sa akin yung pagkakagastusan ko. My mom has been so good to me so gusto ko siyempre maging masaya din siya,” he beamed.
