Eminem makes a good Recovery in the album charts

Eminem makes a good 'Recovery' in the album charts this week by reclaiming the number one spot in the Billboard 200 charts. "Recovery" climbs back to the top after a two week lay-off, selling 133,000 copies more to regain the throne. Eminem's latest has the most number of weeks at number one for an album since Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed A Dream" went six weeks straight at the top from December to January a few months back. The total sales of "Recovery" also races past the two million mark and Eminem's is only the second album to do so this year. The rapper's CD is currently second-best to Lady Antebellum's 'Need You Now,' which has sold some 2.5 million copies. Over at the Hot 100, Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna holds on to the number one spot for the fifth straight week. The single also makes a return to the top spot in the Digital Songs chart garnering 254,000 downloads. Taio Cruz, meanwhile, is just close by with his latest club anthem "Dynamite," sticking at number two for the second straight week. Katy Perry rises up a notch with "California Gurls," which moves from four to three. Her second entry, "Teenage Dreams," jumps from nine to five. Enrique Iglesias is also doing well with his latest single "I Like It" featuring Pitbull, which advances from five to four. Mike Posner's frat party sensibilities is making him the leader of a new a new genre, aptly called frat-R&B with the strong showing of his excellent single, "Cooler Than Me," which improves from seven to six. Usher floats up a notch from eight to seven with "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" featuring Pitbull. In contrast, Taylor Swift's latest single, "Mine," drops five steps from three to eight.
